I liked what Malik Hines gave us tonight. Contested shots and played strong underneath the basket

Someone made the comment earlier that DK works better with a shortened bench. I'm starting to believe that. Some of his rotations last year had me scratching my head.

CJ Anderson did some nice things tonight, good rebounding instincts for a guard.

This is a smart time for all of us to reach out to the UMass athletic department and complain.

A) were complaining about a legitimate concern.
B) it will show the AD how diehard UMass fans are, and are complaining about a Central Arkansas game - it shows that we take every game seriously as a fan ...

Yep. Major issues almost every game and every sport. It really is an embarrassment. I bet Bamford didn't know how deep the crap was he was stepping into here.

I like the way our young guys play defense.

In fairness to CJ he did grab a monster offensive rebound that led to Trey's 4-point play off the next inbound. Although I too question why he played so many minutes instead of Jabarie.

This team has only shot 28 3s this year, 10 of those being Trey's (50%). So there have been only 18 attempts by guys not named Trey Davis. It's too early to conclude we don't have enough shooters.

Also, I don't think shooting 3s is all that critical to our success.

That really was an awful performance by Dayton until the last two minutes of the game. They get CONNU tomorrow which should be interesting

Really liked our defensive intensity and rebounding effort in the second half.

DK will never get away from a DDM-type halfcourt offense, but it think it works for our guys. Trey and DG are so good at penetrating the lane, and Cady and Maxie really thrive off this penetration as they can get in ...

We need to hammer these guys tomorrow AM.

Clark is listed at 6'-4" on the Umass athletics website, he looks longer than that to me. This kid could be really special. He needs to start at the 3 the next game.
