Zags were my preseason pick to win it all. Absolutely loaded and can go 9-10 deep with serious talent. They stomped SMU last night.

+3500 is a pretty good payout... You should get to Vegas before that number goes down if your convictions are strong enough :o

No love for Umass from Jerry Palm:

He has Rhody in though. Must have been impressed with their beatdowns of Pace and the Sewerhawks.

The link you provided suggests it was last updated on the 10th. Thus, he didn't take URI-NE's performances (and player loss) into account. Or our wins.

Creighton wins at home against #18 Oklahoma 65-63. No Doug McDermott, no problem!
Hire Matt McCall!

That has to be the worst "bracketology" Ive ever seen. He has Gonzaga as a #4 when they will be a #1 or #2. VCU as a #5 when they will be a #3 or #4. Uconn as low as #6? Come on now. Rhode Island in instead of Umass. Is this guy even watching any of the games?

Palm having Rhody in as a 12 shows that he's smoking crack. Ain't no way Rhody sniffs the tournament this year.....not even as a last four out.

So we've been slowly but steadily climbing up the way-too-early RPI ranks, now sitting at 34. Last year we spent most of the season in the Top 5 before settling in the 20's and 30's late in the season.

The good news is, our OOC schedule will help us continue to climb, as most every team is expected to win a bunch of games. The bad news is, the Atlantic 10 is not doing nearly as well OOC this year as it did last year. There seems to be less parity in the league this year, with 5 or so teams looking like they'll be a clear notch above the second tier.

I think we'll be in very good shape again, mathematically, unless we have a collapse down the OOC stretch.

I would revise my conference prediction at this point, I think we can win a couple more than I thought. Teams like SLU and SJU look like they'll really struggle.

F it guys, I am bringing this back - at least for the next 48 hours or so.

USA TODAY did its recent Bracketology, and we are just beyond the "First 4 out." Notice how the "Others considered" are not alphabetized.

I think we're not as much of a long shot as some of us think. We just need to keep up our recent good play and make a good showing in Brooklyn!

Last 4 in: Tulsa, Temple, St. John’s, Purdue

First 4 out: UCLA, Oregon, Miami, Wyoming

Others considered: UMass, Illinois, NC State, BYU, George Washington, Tennessee, Washington, Davidson, Alabama, St. Mary’s, UConn, Minnesota, Michigan, Boise St., Nebraska, Rhode Island, Florida, Valparaiso, Pittsburgh, UNLV, Kansas St., Clemson, Memphis, Oregon St.
