Re: Game 19, 2025-26: at Northern Illinois (1/17)

If UMass could only afford one buyout it would have to be Bamford. He has got to go. Let the new AD figure out what to do with the coach.

Considering Thorr is the only one interacting/posting on social media, I assume Bamford is already gone. Hopefully it is a fiscal year/school year type ...

Re: McGuirk Upgrade

I think the safety concerns would be a good (and very legitimate) reason, politically, to get a new stadium in the works.

I'm guessing our idea of a new stadium would preserve the pressbox?

Now that we're almost a decade out from this comment, I think we would be more than OK to tear down the ...

Yeah, I would be ok with that move. There's definitely one AC who is being grossly overpaid, but what what I would expect Tony would make if that position became available.

Re: Joe Harasymiak New Coach!

Some updates to our coaching staff.. these hires are looking really impressive for UMass, I gotta say!

UMass also hired Kurt Anderson to coach the team’s offensive line. Anderson served as Northwestern’s offensive line coach for six seasons.
At Northwestern, Anderson helped develop a pair of ...

A Massachusetts kid!!

Probably lucky drinking and partying is frowned upon in Provo. I can't imagine having 7 mill in the back account as an undergrad during my UMass days

I probably would have tried to buy McMurphy's!

Honestly, with it on the list of "things to disappear ...

The Mass Collective was thinking about trying to put together a pregame but not sure if that has gone any further.
I’m planning on it!

Re: McGuirk Upgrade

Anybody see the movie “The Brutalist”? Well Brutalist architecture is in now. Maybe we can designate McGuirk as an example, and secure state funding for preservation, restoration and improvements. Just kidding…kind of.

I'm not giving McGuirk any grace, but I think it's pretty cool that SOM ...

Re: McGuirk Upgrade

What has been the average attendance in recent years at McGuirk ?

After 12 years of terrible FBS performance, the average attendance for this years 2-10 team was 72.2% capacity and season per game average of 12,269.

I kind of love this hire. He's been relatively successful at every stop he's been at. He likely won't be here for long, but for Coach Harasymiak, having a veteran coach to help with his first season is a win for sure. I'm ...

Since we are paying a basketball coach 2M, do not believe money is to tight for a stadium infrastructure project.

I was under the impression we nearly broke the bank for Frank, so I don't think you're quite right here. Lol.

We did this in 2011 and in 2014... not sure how long that happened going forward. I do believe they do it at least once a year at Homecoming still.

^ Love to see Stats Mckinney back! To answer your question for Army, BC, UB, Temple and UConn--COACHING! All three suffered when they had bad coaching and now, they are succeeding with good coaching. UMass has suffered from bad coaching since Kevin Morris took over years ago.

Let me say again ...

I was mislead by our OWN UMass Football Twitter account. (@UMassFootball "Wheels down in the Buff 🛬") She was just touring the base when our team took off.
