Hope Tom and Bill send an annual Christmas card to Pete thanking him for that pass call!

He certainly is for Red Sox fans.

For Yankee fans like, not so much.
You can still switch over to Red Sox Nation LS. We welcome you in.

^ Thanks! I’m a fan of the Bruins, Celtics and Patriots, but I’m stickin’ with the Pnstripes. I’m not anti-Red Sox, just pro-Yankees.

Have a nice drink and watch Little Giants tonight
Good chat. Have fun changing the subject and lobbing insults whenever you're wrong. Good to know I don't need to value your opinion on any subject in the future.
Making little jokes doesn't change the fact you are wrong on this Scoop. By the rules on the books at the time it was 100% an incomplete pass. Eparade and myself are simply pointing that out.
I acknowledge I'm on a message board with 99% Pats fans. If you go on a neutral NFL message board, this would most certainly not be the outcome. Anyways, moving on...

What if David Tyree didn't catch that ball from Eli Manning in the Super Bowl? Would the Pats have gone 18-0? Would they not have lost to the Giants again in the rematch Super Bowl making the Giants and Eli go 2-0 against the Pats in Super Bowls?

^ The Giants having the Pat's number is not unlike Mike Jarvis having Cal's number back when things was cheap...er! .

Not trying to be a dick but the Pats were 18-0 that season, just never got to 19-0 which was the problem  Even though we ended up with 6 super bowl rings, that one will always haunt us Pats fans. Would have been the undisputed greatest team ever in NFL history. Ugh

^ Before I retired, my boss was a Long Island native and lifetime Giants fan. He had an very large damn poster of Tyree with the ball on his helmet in his office. If he wasn't such a good guy and great boss I could have learned to really dislike him. It was tough to walk into that office every day.

What if Jarvis had been hired in '88 instead of Cal?

Everyone would be a touch less miserable right now.

I think a fair tuck rule thing to bring up would be:

What if the tuck rule had never been created?

Jarvis replied to Harper Williams’ post on FB….calling today’s UMass victory as a great win! 8)
