According to the website, there are a few surprises. For one, they have signed a QB from South Carolina that I haven't seen mention of before

The website has them at 20 signed. 247 sports had them with 16 commits after the 3 decommitments. Still missing one or two that haven't signed yetInnervisionsUMASS wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 8:38 am I count 17 right now based on Twitter. What was the expected #?

Very happy to have 21 on board so early, compared to last years 3 and former yearly limit of 25 before the NCAA Settlement.

The portal window moving seems to have changed the dynamics. Hope we can retain those that can produce and gain some when the portal opens.Steve81 wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 11:32 am Very happy to have 21 on board so early, compared to last years 3 and former yearly limit of 25 before the NCAA Settlement.

Do we know if the 3 decommitmented players signed with their new schools? Any chance any come back?umassbaseball wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 8:42 amThe website has them at 20 signed. 247 sports had them with 16 commits after the 3 decommitments. There ended up being 4. Two to Delaware, 1 to Wake and 1 TBAjjmc85 wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 1:37 pmDo we know if the 3 decommitmented players signed with their new schools? Former UMass LB, coach, and current Merrimack LB coach was the HC at Santa Margarita for a while. I know he left under bad circumstances. Wonder if he was able to put UMass on the map out there. Would love to see him on coach Joe's staff.InnervisionsUMASS wrote: Wed Dec 03, 2025 2:18 pminthescoop wrote: Thu Jul 31, 2025 5:01 pmWow #2 RB in Orange County goes all the way to Amherst, Mass? Re: 2026 Officiial Visits and Commitments
Watched the NSD announcement show with Coach Joe praising the new recruits. "Best we ever had". Can we win 3 games next season?? It would be monumental.
