Re: Minutemen - Eagles, Hockey East Semis
Is there a UMass section? If so, any idea which section?

I agree! Not paying the fees is a big difference. I had already purchased a pair of Loge seats to Friday a while back, but bought (6) tickets in Balcony for Sat at $10/ea ($60 total). If I had bought similar tickets without the group rate and with TM fees, that same purchase would have come out to roughly $180 for 6 tickets.Sheck wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 10:55 amNice to not have to pay ticketmaster fees!69MG wrote: Mon Mar 18, 2019 2:39 pm Here's the Athletics write up on the game and a link for UMass section tickets (available tomorrow).

Did 16 get added? It's not listed on the site. If so, good news!

Going to make a judgement call tomorrow on whether I am feeling up to going (still recovering from surgery) and buy tickets at the BO, most likely.

When I looked the best available was the back of 16, so it was almost sold out yesterday (we are in the back of 16)InnervisionsUMASS wrote: Wed Mar 20, 2019 12:12 pm ^

Alan - Argh! I'm sorry that I didn't post this earlier:
I have two in the 5th row of 16 that I cannot use. My cost is $78. No reasonable offer refused. We could meet at the Garden ticket office as the tickets are there. I am hoping to enter the Garden in time to watch the third period of the first game. Send me a private message here.

Does anyone know for sure if a transfer is needed from the Green Line and where to do it? It looks we'll be doing the Riverside method. The more specific you can be, it will be appreciated.DrG wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 7:46 pm
Another option is taking the Pike and 128 to the Riverside Station in Newton and riding the MBTA Green Line in. (Not all those trains go to North Station so you might have to change at Park St. downtown.) The main drawback is the ride can take upwards of 45 minutes depending on the time of day. Also, if our game goes 6 OTs, the T won't be running anymore and you'll have to Uber back to Riverside.

Yes, you need to transfer and I believe you'll need to do it at Park St. I don't think they have the transfers at Government Center anymore. I'm sure the MBTA site has the details. The conductor of the train when you get on will be able to tell you as well.... they don't bite. I don't think.69MG wrote: Thu Mar 21, 2019 3:55 pm

^^ Riverside: You can get on any inbound train. If it is not going past North Station to Lechmere, get off at Park and switch to one that is. Your stop is North Station. No transfer ticket needed. Give yourself PLENTY of time. The Green Line can be slow.

D trains do not go to North Station. Transfer at Park St for a North Station or Lechmere train
