From the Hockey East site:
WAKEFIELD, Mass. - The Hockey East Association has announced the pairings and start times for the 35th annual championship weekend, set for March 22-23 at TD Garden in Boston. The semifinal double header will begin Friday with No. 3 Northeastern and No. 5 Boston University facing off at 4pm, while No. 1 Massachusetts and No. 7 Boston College take the ice at 7:30pm. The winners will move on to the championship game on Saturday at 7pm. Both semifinals and the championship game will be shown live on NESNplus and streamed online at FloHockey.TV outside of New England.

My understanding is that The Greatest Bar is the official home for UMass this weekend.

I got a group of co-workers to plan on leaving the office a bit early on friday so we can hit both games. I've been talking about UMass hockey all season, so some of them are pretty excited to see what it's all about.

Here's the Athletics write up on the game and a link for UMass section tickets (available tomorrow).

Well, we're getting 4 tickets (Friday and Saturday).
I hate driving in Boston. I don't suppose anyone is organizing a bus to Boston and back? Athletic Dept. is not. Neither is the Alumni Association.
Much rather pay for ride to the Garden and back.
Any one going who has a van?

You could always take the commuter rail in from Woostah. Although only the northern commuter lines go to North Station so you would need to transfer.

Re: Minutemen - Eagles, Hockey East Semis
Another option is taking the Pike and 128 to the Riverside Station in Newton and riding the MBTA Green Line in. (Not all those trains go to North Station so you might have to change at Park St. downtown.) The main drawback is the ride can take upwards of 45 minutes depending on the time of day. Also, if our game goes 6 OTs, the T won't be running anymore and you'll have to Uber back to Riverside.baseline47 wrote: Tue Mar 19, 2019 9:47 am Well, we're getting 4 tickets (Friday and Saturday).
