The reason he is at Texas Southern is that he didn’t get admitted to Coastal Carolina

He wasn't admitted as in his grades weren't good enough?

How can this be? Didn't he transfer as a graduate student? How could he graduate and have low grades?

That non-conference schedule for Texas Southern is no joke. It will be interesting to see how Donte does for them.

^ No kidding. That's got to be one of toughest non-conference schedules of any school in the country.

I don't know. Seems to me that if he has the grades to graduate that that would be sufficient to be admitted somewhere else. Maybe not. The grading world for athletes is sometimes not like for the rest of us.

If I am reading that schedule correct all their non-conference games are on the road or neutral.
I'm just tryin' to get by bein' quiet and shy In a world full of pushin' and shove...

They must need the money.

^ I think they just want to help their RPI. They were a 16 seed last year, return a few starters and add Clark. They should be pretty decent.

Possible, but I doubt it, playing that kind of slate is usually more about getting pay days. The team was 100+ RPI last year, I highly doubt they'd construct their schedule to get a better RPI because there's virtually no chance of them getting an at-large bid.
