Game 12, 2016 Hawaii
Time to start the Hawaii thread. Opening line has Hawaii favored 7 - 10 points. with a 11 PM ET start going to have to take an afternoon nap to stay awake for this whole game.
Re: Game 12, 2016 Hawaii
^ I'm hoping to find an illegal stream for the game because there is no way of getting on TV here in the states from what I can find. It looks like the MW used to have online streams for the Hawaii games but not anymore.
Otherwise I'll have to listen to the radio broadcast.

Looking forward to the 2022 UMass Football Season (Oh boy, just jinxed that one)

I went to the Hawaii athletic site and it don't list any TV for the game at this time. Hard to believe NO TV.

Why? Both these teams suck.Berkman wrote:I went to the Hawaii athletic site and it don't list any TV for the game at this time. Hard to believe NO TV.

For your viewing pleasure they've decided to air a rebroadcast of the 2nd half of the BYU game.

Re: Game 12, 2016 Hawaii
Worth noting: Hawaii technically could become "bowl-eligible" with a win Saturday night. Though they would only be 6-7, according to NCAA guidelines they would get the nod over any five-win teams if there were not enough teams to fill all of the bowl spots.
Our schedule this season:
BOWL-ELIGIBLE
Florida (8-2)
Troy (8-2)
Louisiana Tech (8-3)
Old Dominion (8-3)
Brigham Young (7-4)
South Carolina (6-5)
COULD BECOME ELIGIBLE
Boston College (5-6, vs. Wake Forest this weekend)
Hawaii (5-7)
NOT LIKELY ELIGIBLE
(*Not going to go through everything and see how their APRs would break down if they get into the pool of five win teams)
Florida International (4-7, vs. ODU)
Mississippi State (4-7, vs. Ole Miss)
INELIGIBLE
Tulane (3-8)
Wagner (FCS)

Do wins against the University of Massachusetts count towards Bowl Eligibility?Dickie Dunn wrote:Worth noting: Hawaii technically could become "bowl-eligible" with a win Saturday night. All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.
Re: Game 12, 2016 Hawaii
This is correct. They try to get folks to come to the games. It costs more to watch it on PPV than a ticket to the stadium.mdogt12 wrote:Game is on PPV in Hawaii.

So, are any UMass folks other than me (and my girlfriend) are going to this game? We'd love to tailgate with some UMass fans...

^^ I and my better half leave bright and early tomorrow, through Dallas. On Oahu until Sunday, then next week on the Big Island.
Read all about the game in the Herald, Gazette and Recorder. If you don't mind holding out until Monday's print editions.
