Games 34 & 35 (2015-16): Providence

Post by Marshmont_63 » Sat Feb 20, 2016 1:07 am

Last two games of the regular season against the defending national champions, the Providence College Friars. Providence is currently sitting in 3rd place in the Hockey East standings and 5th in the pairwise rankings. They're tied for 9th in the country in total offense, averaging 3.35 goals per game. They're 7th in total defense, giving up an average of 2.06 goals per game. I have no confidence at all in taking even one point this weekend. But, as always...GO UMASS!!!

Nice article as always rocks.

Amazing that with UMass' goal differential, Walsh's +- is a -3
Raise the bar, do the minimum.

In case you were wondering, this team's last Hockey East win was in November of last year.

Down 3-0 after the first period in game 2 against PC. Micheletto can't get fired soon enough.

P.S. I forgot to mention that the game isn't even half over yet

He should be fired before the HEA playoffs. That would be perfect.

No, you know what would be perfect?...to leave him at BU after our second loss to them next Saturday night. He's probably already got his office all packed up. LEAVE HIM IN BOSTON!!!
