Bowling Green is just not the same without their quarterback, and their defense is mediocre. 65-10 Wisconsin in the 4th quarter.
This is a game in which I thought we had no chance 3 weeks ago. We might even be favored in this one if we play a respectable game today and come out of it without any more injuries.

Since the Colorado game I have thought BG would be the first win. Whip and the team just needed time.

To steal Molnars phrase for a minutes - Umass played against big-boy football today. That would have been 70-0 last year.

I gotta tell you, I can't wait to NOT be a part of MAC-ction.

There are many dumb attempts at marketing hooks in the world, but this one truely is cringe-worthy. There is something very campy about it like it should be inserted into one of those old Batman TV shows - BAM..... KAPOW.... SPLAT... MAC-Tion! :roll:

The thing with MAC-tion is that it started from fans on the internet who were watching the weeknight games. The MAC didn't come up with it but they've definitely taken advantage of the term being popularized. When you're a G5 conference you have to go with whatever good press and recognition comes your way.
