Re: Should we tweet/ask players to stay
My inside source says all 14 players are going to transfer. Not 15, though, as Zach Turcotte got a year back and will be sticking with the program in an attempt to get a start on senior night. #Facts

^you walk around the board being a douche for no reason related to content only your own personal feelings about people. It is really quite pathetic, I feel bad for your spouse and friends if you have any in real life or act like this irl.
Looking forward to winning seasons again!

What? That's what my inside source said. Hope it's wrong, but just passing along what I was told. Get a grip, bro!

Re: Should we tweet/ask players to stay
Have to compare it to any work environment I've ever been in. When there is reorg, deck chairs being rearranged etc there is always a level of noise and discontent. But usually after things settle, order is restored, people get comfortable again and it abates. Not thinking that means no transfers, but I'd imagine a lot of the players will start feeling good once they see a stable coaching situation and meet the new coach... I hope at least.umassfan.com wrote:No my friend works his financial aid job doing clerical stuff around the athletics department.
He said no one had officially chosen only their is a high level of discontent. If we keep everyone it will be a very very good sign about McCall

Always a good idea to out one of your buddies as a "source" on a public message board, especially one who does work for the athletic dept. Nothing bad can come of that.umassfan.com wrote:No my friend works his financial aid job doing clerical stuff around the athletics department.

I wrote this ... it's gotta be true.

Hense why I don't provide gender, name, position, etc. Hundreds of people work for the athletic department.

Re: Should we tweet/ask players to stay
This is my experience as well but it's a little different for a basketball team that was recruited by a coach to play for that coach. Matt McCall has his work cut out for him in terms of keeping the freshmen. It's hard to believe the guys who have already redshirted would transfer but who knows. If McCall keeps them all it will be major success and will really help himself establish his mark. My over/under on transfers is three.UMassHoops wrote:Have to compare it to any work environment I've ever been in. One thing always seemed apparent to me under DK. The team never quit, and the team seemed to really like and support each other.78 wrote:50Mark Chiarelli @Mark_Chiarelli 6m6 minutes ago

For what it's worth, Flowers' dad (I think) has been liking/commenting on all of the UMass Basketball Instagram pictures today
Re: Should we tweet/ask players to stay
Literally nothing to back this up but I am most concerned the NOLA boys will transfer out, I'm pretty much banking on it tbh. Least concerned with CJ and the guys that have red shirted.
