Yeah, a little too much attention to detail.
But I used to collect Erving memorabilia. The more you know, the less chance of getting fleeced.

Someone on Facebook shared a couple pictures of Julius at the line in the Cage. I've shared it to my page:

I'm wondering what season that might have been from. He looks a little young in the pictures, but there's little other context to go on so it's hard to tell.
There are some dudes here from that era. Any guesses?
