This year i'm taking my son to MSG for the BE tourney semi's on Friday. However, if the boys make a run we'll jet out to Pittsburg....long odds though. Have fun to whoever is going

UMass will be the 12 seed and will play St. Joe's the 13 seed. Duquesne had two free throws with 4 seconds left down 1. 85% FT shooter on the line...missed both. St. Joe's is definitely a better match-up for us. If we lose to St. Bonnie they'll be the 5th seed, if we win and GW wins, GW will be the 5th seed.

Well..... StJ, StB, and URI are three winnable games and isn't the worst draw in the world.

If we beat St. Joes again, there's no way I think we get by Bona. Shmidt will take away that triangle-and-two and the new 3-2 zone and DK will have no counter move.
This is the most enjoyable losing season ever!

NESN+ will carry the Wednesday game @ 6.

Well, DK decide to game plan for the last SBU game and throw the triangle and two at them. Maybe he's been reborn into a sentient coach and will actually plan something new again.

If UMass somehow got to Sunday, I suspect I'd do my best to get there. I have a crazy feeling we could win 2 or even 3. Tough for Bona and Rhody to beat us a third time. Then again we'll have to beat SJU a third time to get there and I'm not sure we will.

Agreed. Assuming we make it to Thursday, I don't see Schmidt getting outsmarted by DK.

Schmidt and Bona are 6-1 vs Kellogg and UM in the last 7 games, and our lone win was on a Jabarie Hinds 3 pointer in the final 10 seconds. It'd take a unusually cohesive effort on our part, and an uncharacteristic Bona lapse, for us to advance to Friday.

Or a coach with John Calipari's phone number.
