This looks as bad as the men’s games, I was hoping for better.

Those two missed layups on breakaways really hurt.

I was hoping for for reprieve from the shit show of the men, but no such luck. They laid an absolute egg tonight in the biggest game of the season thus far. Very disappointing.

Definitely an off night, some bad turnovers as well. Very good season tho. Will they still get into a post season tournament after losing in the 1st round?

Disappointing finish to a good year. Came back from 14 down in 3rd quarter to tie but they hit a key 3 to kill our momentum. We hit only 1 3 and it was late in the game. I think they made 8 or 9.

I had a commitment and couldn't watch the game, which seems to be just as well. Very surprising and tremendously disappointing. Sad way to end what was otherwise a really great season.

^ RR, you said it perfectly. "Sad way to end what was otherwise a really great season." I hope they get a chance to redeem themselves in a post-season tournament.

Couldn't hit a 3 and missed a ton of layups/contested bunnies. They really started pressing offensively later in the game and that didn't help. And outlier at the absolutely wrong time of the year. Unfortunate, but a very good season otherwise.

So, we're thinking they get invited to the WNIT.. probably will miss out on the WBIT, right?

We have a NET ranking of 98 through 3/11, so in theory we could still get an invitation to the WBIT since there are 100 spots between the NCAA and WBIT tournaments. We're definitely on the cusp, though. A win versus Toledo and at least a solid performance against Ball State would have helped our case.

WNIT should remain a reasonable chance.

it would be great if they get the chance to play a few more games to end the season on a high note
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.
