Thank you so much for posting that! I just got four tickets for the guests we're bringing.

Out of curiosity, where did you see this? I'm a season ticket holder and I didn't get a notification. Is there some other list I should join?

Thanks again!

I got an email at 2pm, and then a text message at 3:30. No idea which list they sent the email to.

Cool, thanks.

As it turns out, my wife just got that text. It's some kind of "fastbreak" alert that you and she are clearly subscribed to that I'm not. I'll definitely fix that!

Fastbreak is the name of this promotion. The number that sends me the texts sends out MBB and Hockey promo stuff too.

The Fastbreak Club is the women's equivalent of the Court Club. As for who got emails and texts, I have no idea. I got both.

Thanks guys! I'll figure out where to get those texts and emails. My wife is getting them so there I must have just missed something along the way.

In the meantime, we survive a challenge from Akron and win 74-64 to go 23-6, 14-3 in the MAC. The game was closer that the score might indicate after a rough third period, but we never quit and ultimately prevailed. Looking forward to Saturday.

Sorry for the confusion, the text/email didn't say anything about a Club... I get the distinction now, thanks!!

Looks like they are locked into the #3 seed for the MAC tourney with Ball St. and Miami both winning tonight as well but hopefully a good crowd on Saturday and they can beat up on 3-26 Buffalo.
Give WBB more money.

Poor, poor game by the Minutewomen last night. They almost lost to one of the worst teams in the league. No defense at all against Akron's three point shooters.

I got concerned in the 3 rd period with them doing full court defense doubling down on the ball handler. Left their 3 point shooters open and they would up scoring 29 points in that period.

Wednesday, March 11 for that one. Toledo is currently the 6 but not locked in yet.

Times say TBA, but last year the 3/6 game was at 6:30 PM. ESPN+ will have the 3/11 quarters and the 3/13 semis.

My favorite thing about the MAC is how they combine the women's and men's tournaments at a single site.
3/11: Women's Quarters
3/12: Men's Quarters
3/13: Women's Semis starting at 10, Men's Semis starting at 5
3/14: Women's Champ at 11, Men's Champ at 8
If your teams are poised to make a run, like Miami's are this year, that's a great four-day run in the Cleve.

I think that combo format justifies the top-8 qualification. It's increasingly rare that someone emerges from pillow fight day to make a run to the title.

^That's a great point, Mike. I'm not going this year, but hopefully in future years both the men and women are playing (and advancing). It's probably a separate ticket, but you're only paying for 1x transportation and 1x hotel, so it's a pretty awesome setup.

I will be attending. Like the fact that they run tournaments together and only 8 men and 8 women teams get in.

The bottom line is they won by 10 and are now 22-6.
