2026 Men's Lax schedule announced

This schedule does not have the 'lift' power-wise to yield a playoff birth, IMO, unless UM qualifies and wins the automatic bid for A10 champion. We only play 2 of the "Too Soon" top-ranked teams: Army and Richmond. We'd be much better off playing Yale, Brown or Harvard, which we have over many years, versus Penn.

Army is getting 2 and 3-star recruits consistently. We are not. We try to make up for it with hustle and grit. We'll see how that plays out.

Just watched some of the Gorillas 11-8 win at Brown. An amazing amount of snow had to be moved to play.

We are now 4-1.

We seem to start slow, then just accelerate on O and turn up D pressure.

Nice win against an undefeated Brown team, now 2-1.

UAlbany should be a close battle, but it has generally been in favor of UMass the last few years.

Current Streak: UMass has won the last four consecutive matchups against UAlbany (2022–2025).

Recent Momentum: The Minutemen have won five of the last six meetings.

Game is at noon at Garber Field.

Great Second half to send the #20 Danes back to Albany w/an L. 5-1 is a nice start to the '26 campaign.

Good news. On the strength of our 5-1 start, UMass is now ranked 19th on March 2.
