I have followed Umass since the late 60’s, they were decent in the 70’s, horrible in the early 80’s, unbelievable in the 90’s. I think we have returned to the early 80’s. For younger posters on this board we lost to U of Hartford back then. No doubt we-need a complete change in leadership unless we want to accept being one of the worst. This can be turned around quickly if we bring in the right people with the portal.

Wow
AND FRANK BLAMED PLACIDE in his postgame radio comments.

I haven't really been on the train to move on from Frank, yet. I'm considering it now.

How the fu@% do you just watch your player struggle with the clock running down and a timeout remaining? Like what the actual fuck?

Its hard to figure out why Placide has been riding the bench all year. Frank should absolutely be gone but Bamford extended him for 2 tears several years ago for no reason at all. Now we are stuck with him.

Also why did he take Clerc out when we are up one and Ball State has the ball. Naturally they miss but we lose the rebound.

In 53 years of following UMass since I arrived in the Fall of 72, I have never been as upset as I am now!

Stunned we lost tonight. In OT the announcers were talking about how the Ball State coaches were all up and fired up. I looked at our bench and nothing. Teams take on the personality of their coach and the atmosphere looks horrible.
Banks, Placide, & K'Jei should have all been in together in OT.
I'd be happy if Martin is gone. Not getting it done. Same shit every game

The smartest decision I made today was not watching the game, and I get ESPN+ for free. I checked the score at the half and said, nice job. I checked a little while later and we were up 53-35. I checked with under 3 minutes to go and it was 58-54. We scored 5 points in maybe 7 or 8 minutes???

I have been a UMass BB fan for about 60 years, and this team is impossible for me to root for. That is very hard for me to say. As of now, I will not renew my season tickets or give 1 cent to the athletic dept. unless significant changes are made. I don't have to say what they are, everyone knows.

I posted a few days ago about low BB IQ. We have it in the players and in the coach. Enough said.

This is pretty bad. Ryan needs to go, now.

After 60yrs, you have been thru thick and thin like me. We sure are on the thin side but I don’t want to lose you in our row :)

Because you asked, I may reconsider. But absolutely not one cent in donations. To think we have sat next to each other all these years and didn't know each other's screen names.

Sounds like me at the end of Lappas’ time here.

Did I hear somewhere that if football goes 0-12 and basketball misses the MAC tourney, then my Jordan’s Furniture is free?
Retarded artistically. Idiotic in other respects.

Sounds good on both counts! See you at the next debacle.
