2025-26 Season
Re: 2025-26 Season
If they win a couple of games in the A-10 tournament they should be invited to the Big Dance!

If we sweep, go 24-5 and win a couple of games in the A10 tourney we should be deserving of an WNIT bid. I'd like to think at large NCAA, but the MAC is a 1 bid league.

^ I can't believe I wrote that. Then again, I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning. Let me rephrase that:
If they win a couple of games in the A10 tourney they should get an automatic bid and a 1 seed.

Re: 2025-26 Season
I will bet my house that they do not win a game or even make the A10 tournament.

2 games under .500 in the MAC, get the fuck out of here, Frank.
Edit: Whoops, sorry for posting that here. Disappointing loss for the women last night after that huge win over Miami OH. McKayle was not herself, was there an injury? Injury or not, seems like Perkins should have played more and McKayle less in this one.

Re: 2025-26 Season
I hate to agree, but I do. It's like the entire team just lost their shooting touch. I wonder if they were still a little "hungover" from the Miami game and just didn't have their focus. Hopefully, a loss like this helps them regain that edge. This is a tough one, but if they can bounce back and beat CMU, they're still very much in it.

I agree. Probably played their worst game.
Aside from Meg, the team shot 10-48 from the field. (21%) it is hard to win

If any team gets a pass for a bad game, this one does. Just hope it's a one-time thing and they bounce back.

Re: 2025-26 Season
For sure! That was a very impressive win on the road against a good team. Happy to see them come back strong and focused after Wednesday's loss.
Miami beat Ball State, so they move into first place. We remain in third, a half-game behind Ball State and a game-and-a-half ahead of CMU. Ball State still has to face Toledo and Ohio, who aren't pushovers. Next week's game against Kent State is probably our biggest remaining challenge. It will be interesting to see if we can slip into second place.
