I take it back...Let's go!!! DHS with a career game, welcome back big fella!Juice Stand wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 2:10 pm My level of confidence in their ability to play well down the stretch and for Frank to play the right guys is low. We'll see how this goes.

44 seconds - up 3 with the ball - Frank resets them waiving his arms like crazy - looks like a high pick and roll... Carbuccia goes beyond wide so there is no pick to be made.... not even close.
Well at least they are not going to choke this one - nice win.
Gonna be a long ride back to Corvallis with a 0-3.

Getting out of there with a W and still over .500.
Hopefully this is a turning point for DHS that can carry over for the rest of the season.
Thanks Mike for the updates from down there, much appreciated.

Seems to me that the doghouse has Wimbley and Brown.

how about Ndjigue with 9 rebounds, and a few clutch grabs in the final minutes. He seems to come out of nowhere sometimes and save the day.
Clerk and Placide with some nice minutes off the bench as well. Good to see.

Just when I think I can sleep on the rest of the year, they drag me back in. They played with a lot more energy in the second half, and especially in the last couple of minutes. Aggressive without fouling, what a concept.
If DHS play like this we might actually be a decent team. Frank shortened the rotation as the game went on, and basically used 7 players, the starters, Placide and Clerc. Those 2 gave us 17 points in 24 minutes and were 4/5 from the line. Wimbley and Parker had 5 minutes between them and no sign of Brown at all.
Would love to know how Frank figured out this lineup, but it somehow worked.

Happy that they won.
I wasn’t able to see it, but I’ll check out the replay later.

I have a feeling it was who worked the hardest in practice - Rollie has now played in two straight games and today he played meaningful minutes and played pretty good defense. Don't get me wrong - I don't want him taking Parker's minutes but if he's stronger than Brown and he plays good D69MG wrote: Mon Nov 24, 2025 2:52 pm

I think Frank is slowly gaining confidence in some of his players and maybe they are slowly gaining confidence in themselves.
He's got a lot of work to do. I've seen nothing productive out of Wimbley and Brown yet. Rollie getting in there ahead of Brown today and Placide ahead of Wimbley suggests to me that they have had difficulty adjusting. Wimbley looks like he's got energy when he's out there but he doesn't seem to do anything productive.
Let's hope we can coach up the bench over the next month and build a decent team for the MAC schedule.
