Big test for women tonight. Harvard is always tough. They got blown away by #13 Michigan last week, but in their first game Harvard beat St. John's of the Big East.

For those who follow this team & know the personnel more closely, the girl who sat out last year & now this year due to injury, would she have been a starter? Sounds like she was highly rated

Taylor Derkack would almost surely have been a starter. Ayanna Franks, who we picked up from Rhode Island, seems to have filled out that fifth spot, and she looks really goodFloyd wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 6:26 pm For those who follow this team & know the personnel more closely, the girl who sat out last year & now this year due to injury, would she have been a starter? Harvard leads 29-22 at halftime. We've played well, but our shooting has been a little off. Harvard's D is really good, but we've missed a lot of shots. We'll see what they can do in the second half.

44-42 Harvard at the end of the third. Allie Palmeri came alive in the third. Great game.

Great win for this team, they were terrific in the second half. The beginning of what could be a special season.

Won going away. What a strong half. Always good to defeat UMass-Cambridge.

I had to scoot out right after the game, so I couldn't post. I second both of these comments. What a great game! Even if they had lost, I'd have been proud of the effort, but they ran away with it in the 4th. I'm still buzzing. That was so exciting. I'm also really excited for the rest of the season. I really encourage folks to come out and support this team.Old Cage wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 8:25 pm Won going away. What a strong half. Always good to defeat UMass-Cambridge.

ESPN gave us a 22% chance to win tonight.

Very nice win. Great team effort. Chinenye Odenigbo played very well.Good defense, several steals and when they passed to her, she finished inside.

I'm pretty sure she was there to take Steph's spot when Steph graduated. She's 6'0, about the same as Steph and her high school and AAU careers were very good.Floyd wrote: Tue Nov 11, 2025 6:26 pm For those who follow this team & know the personnel more closely, the girl who sat out last year & now this year due to injury, would she have been a starter? I asked earlier today if they thought she might be able to play next year. I didn't ask anyone from the team as I doubt I would have gotten an answer. The person I asked is close to the team and I think his info is accurate. The answer was "She's very hopeful".Before UMass: 1,000-point scorer at Colonia … Three-time first-team all-division and three-time first-team all-conference selection … Earned first-team all-state honors … Named the Home New Tribune GMC Player of the Year and NJ.com GMC Player of the Year … Helped AAU team to a 16U EYBL Boo Williams Championship, the 16U EYBL Run for the Roses Championship, and the EYBL Nike Nationals Championship.

Great win. Allie Palmieri had 0 at half finished with 17. And Chi had a terrible first half and turned it around in 2nd half. Great team to watch!

Coasted tonight but the big one vs BC at noon Saturday!
Re: 2025-26 Season
12 played for us tonight and 11 scored. With those stats, we know for certain that Tory Verdi was not coaching.

When’s the last time a UMass team won a game by 40 points?
