Season starts for the gals tonight, 6:30pm on ESPN+ (and Hulu) on the road at Old Dominion.

Good win for the ladies. They let ODU back in to the game, but never really felt that the outcome was in doubt. The team seems to be deeper this year. Several of the transfers and frosh came in off the bench and contributed. They will compete for the MAC title.

Solid first game especially with Olbrys not playing her typical game. Franks had a strong overall performance in her first game. Siena is next.

Nice to see an opening game where you recognize most of our team members.

This win should have been by a wider margin, as we only shot 14-28 from the stripe. Olbrys 1-8

Went to a women’s practice and it was very well organized. It should be noted they retained their top 6 players save for Stef who graduated. I agree with IV that if they stay healthy they have a very good chance to win the MAC. Solid coaching

Very solid win against a tenacious Siena team who has one player I'd love to see join our team. #33, Ayanna Franks really made a positive impression on me today. She's going to be a great and important addition to this squad.

Definitely looking forward to next week against Harvard!

Watched a little of the women's game. They play well together. Good balance. I agree that Franks looks good and the freshman Perkins can shoot it. They all looked pretty good, and were well prepared
