We all have opinions and did write coach H after the Bryant game, via the administrations as he does not have a direct email. Saying do believe, but now think it will take 3 years and we don't like waiting. I was way too optimistic. Saying the things we all see, nothing earth shattering. Rene on the podcast said, that his reading the tea leaves from coach's H Monday presser said it differently, but did say he thought Coach H was going to tear down the program, not tolerate any infractions and next year have to develop the high school kids and could take an additional year.Quann wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 5:55 pmI have to be honest, that's an alarming statement from a guy that is the face and head of this program. Doesn't exactly scream leadership when you put stuff like this out there publicly as the HC.Steve81 wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 10:30 pmWhile 100% agree it has taken way to long for the QB situation to be resolved by the coaching staff, I want to believe they have it figured out. Time will tell, but while tailgating and talking to parents of players, they did not come out and say it, but knew that Rose had the Western start. Believe the coaches and players know the starting QB.Jack wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 7:04 pm "We have a Quarterback issue right now. We have got to figure it out." ......Coach Harasymiak 10/05/25
No Coach. H - Not "we". YOU got a Quarterback issue and YOU got to solve your QB issue.
Hairston and Rose are deservedly in the doghouse together b/c neither could successfully matriculate the ball down the field and get a TD. But we're onto The Kent State Golden Flashes.
Coach H needs to fix his QB issue. Enough w/the QB rotisserie it's been a failure. Who''s next Will Perry? If Will can move the ball, doesn't take dumb sacks and get into the end zone - the job should be his to lose since neither Hairston or Rose could get the job done.
Whoever it is, Coach H must decide who his Quarterback is now to get the offense well prepared, game planned, in synch, organized to avoid dumb penalties and prepared to fire and block together. Figure it out. Not having a dedicated starter is hindering the development of the team.

I was extremely aggravated that the defense did not adjust until after the Bryant game. Hoping to see the same kind of change for the offense with Kent. I want to see AJ and they adjust protection for him. Coach H made a point to mention how Western adjusted their defense for AJ. Let's see if we have the answer.
The coaches, who did not turn things around in year 1 are many, but ultimately succeed and do believe in the players, coaches and the administration. The sad part is I will have to listen to the usual suspects, complaining, talking fcs or dropping football etc. as they get their kicks in. Or perhaps their way of expressing their frustration at the expense of outward perceptions of future recruits, their parents, current players etc.
For the record, predict UMass wins by 10 or more. Thinking Victor Cruz and Liam Cohen. As long as we see AJ as the game QB.
