Got some good run but unfortunately not a good game offensively though did grab a bunch of boards.

He led the team in rebounds by a pretty wide margin. One more chance to prove himself, but I'm not sure what Dallas is looking for. Do they need a scrappy all-rounder like Matt, are they looking for someone more polished offensively, I have no idea. I'm glad he's getting a chance.

The Dallas Mavericks signed Cross to a contract on Saturday and then promptly waived him a few hours later along with a few other players. I assume this is some financial finagling or D-League maneuvering.

Basically he signed and Exhibit 10 then was procedurally waived to assign him to the G League Affiliate. This gets the clock ticking on any bonus he signed and he will start the year with the Texas Legends. This is definitely a positive thing for Matt and the Mavericks.
