Portal MBB 2025

^ Thanks. I think that's his father's account, but it's still a good sign.
Re: Portal MBB 2025
We're not mentioned in the article, but it's absurd how much roster turnover there is. Check a few schools to see how little production is returning. There are exceptions, of course, but some schools have ZERO coming back.

Re: Portal MBB 2025
interesting. Think I saw 3 with zero returnees (Baylor, Auburn and 1 other). Having 2-3 returnees is much more common than 6 or more. I sometimes heard the way to salary increases was hopping from company to company, but not every year or 2; OTOH, that's the working world not NCAA D1.69MG wrote: Sat May 03, 2025 7:59 pm We're not mentioned in the article, but it's absurd how much roster turnover there is. Re: Portal MBB 2025
A player who averaged 14.6ppg at Eastern Michigan is transferring to Fordham. Don’t think we would see that happening the other way around. The difference between A10 and MAC in CBB. Anyways, we should dominate teams like Eastern Michigan next season.
Re: Portal MBB 2025
This is good for Fordham, but remember Fordham could not lure away a Senderoff, Kent State head coach for double the salary. He did get a raise after the Fordham offer, but still a 1/4M less. Dominate the bottom 7 teams, yes, but top MAC teams will be no cake walk.inthescoop wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 2:03 am A player who averaged 14.6ppg at Eastern Michigan is transferring to Fordham. Details and less than the roughly Million offered by Fordham.
Summary:
Rob Senderoff signed a new 6-year contract with Kent State, extending his tenure as head coach until June 30, 2031.
His base salary increased from $375,000 to $500,000, and his supplemental compensation for media work rose from $50,000 to $175,000. The retention bonus also increased from $50,000 to $75,000.
Senderoff’s total annual compensation, including base salary, media work, and retention bonus, now totals $750,000.
Kent State increased the coaching staff's salary budget, allocating an additional $150,000 for assistant coach salaries, which will be distributed as recommended by Senderoff.
Senderoff's contract includes performance incentives, such as $25,000 for winning the MAC Tournament or earning an NCAA Tournament berth, and bonuses for NIT performance ($5,000 for a first-round appearance and $1,500 per NIT victory).
A win over Akron adds a $1,000 bonus to his contract.
If Senderoff leaves Kent State before March 2027 for a basketball-related position, he would owe a $1.5 million buyout. After March 2027, the buyout amount depends on whether he leaves for a Power 6 school or not.
There is no buyout if he leaves between March 2029 and June 2031.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

Scoop, there are many teams Umass should have dominated over the last decade who we did not dominate. Until proven otherwise, Umass (fans) should not make that sort of claim against any team or conference.
This is the kind of stuff that infuriates me due to the total lack of self-awareness.

Steve, I have no idea how your example is correlated to mine, but alright, keep reaching. We all know 750k in rural Ohio goes further than a million in NYC/Westchester. Senderoff had his NCAA issues in the past, so makes sense he wants to stay comfortable, and be where he built a family with his wife and kids. Good for him. Still has no connection to what I said except for the conferences.
Yeah eldonabe, I get it, we kind of lost that right, but I gotta keep some optimism going into next season and I do think that we should finish in the top 4 in the MAC next season or win the tournament. Otherwise, to me, it's a failure of a season. We're the new dog in town that may do a lot of barking, we need to prove that we can bite too.eldonabe wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 12:25 pminthescoop wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 2:03 am A player who averaged 14.6ppg at Eastern Michigan is transferring to Fordham. Biting is a flagrant foul, plus a game misconduct. Best stick to barking.
Re: Portal MBB 2025
The difference between the MAC and the A10. (Your last 2 lines.) The top MAC coaches are on par salary wise to the lower A10 teams. Top MAC coach wants no part of a lower A10 team
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

Amadou Doumbia and Lewis Walker both have committed to North Carolina A&T

If projects can realize they are projects and seek PT instead of dollars, the dollars might come a year later. Those two with years left will be attractive down the line. Just look at Frank grabbing the best of D2 and Juco. Sometimes you gotta go low and show to get attention. Wouldn't be surprised if AD can get another year from NCAA. Game has changed so much.
Refuse To Lose!!!
