Re: 2024-2025 Season
The fact that UMass has played well on the road this season makes me optimistic for a positive outcome this week!

I wouldn't expect Cameron back.
Olvestad and Jencko are progressing, but no idea about availability for Thursday yet.

Awesome season. Definitely top 5 of the division 1 era. 3-5 is 2007, 2022 and this team in a debatable order. Guess you could argue 2020 but we’ll never know.

20 UMass guys make HE’s all-academic team! Plus, four from UMass earned the prestigious honor of being named Hockey East's Top Scholar-Athlete, compiling the highest GPA at their position for the season. Those players, graduate student defenseman Linden Alger, freshman defenseman Finn Loftus, freshman forward James Duerr and freshman forward Cam Dunn, have been selected to the 2024-25 Hockey East Academic All-Star Team, as well

Extra Points has compiled data on how much teams spent in the '24-25 season. UMass appears at #9.

Big caveat: data is incomplete, as private schools can ignore the author's requests. Public schools have to answer under FOIA rules.
We appear to be highest among Hockey East schools, but again, complicated by the private schools showing no data.
9 - UM, +4.3% versus the prior year
10 - UML, +9.6% vs PY
13 - Maine, +22.7%
15 - UConn, +22%
20 - Vermont, +19.4%
25 - UNH, -18.2%

Arizona State is because they went from $0 in arena rental fees to $2,190,839. Not sure what in particular happened with Penn State though.doubledribble wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 9:09 pmArizona State and Penn State had 50% and 47% increase's in fundingMikeUMA wrote: Tue May 26, 2026 12:29 pm Extra Points has compiled data on how much teams spent in the '24-25 season.
