I heard JB say in the beginning of the UMB game that they would give an update about DHS later on and I missed what was said. Any updates on his status?

Ouch, I was hoping to have him back for the Springfield game against AZ State. Not sure how we win the next two without him.

It seems that DHS is inclined to stay, and it may be up to our ability to give a competitive NIL to keep him if someone comes calling with a big offer. I had forgotten that DHS and Curry were high school teammates. The friendship helps, but $$ will decide it for both of them.

DHS is my favorite player at UMass in a while. Never see him lose his cool, always gives 100%, and he's really developing his game. And all these stories and comments from those who've met him about his personality & positivity is great to hear. I really hope he stays here, but if he decided to make a move, I'd still follow him at his next spot. Class act kid

Both Hankins and Curry will be gone and excel where ever they land. Hankins and Curry did not play to their full potential this year as both are better than what they showed. That being said, Let’s not fool ourselves like we did with Cohen and Cross as the all might dollar rules when decisions are made! With these possible defections, it is likely will win about 8 conference games per year in the super competitive MAC!

The injury DHS had to his hand, and I think the spots he had to play, mostly center, made it tough for him to excel. He's a PF, but being paired with Rivera, he had to match up a lot with centers. I don't think it was coincidence when Rivera was out that DHS had some great games, they're both best at the same position.
Jaylen struggled at times this season, but let's remember he's a sophomore, and had a much bigger role this season to run the team and also be a scorer. I thought he was better this year than last, but yes still has room to grow & improve, and I'm sure he will.

Will be interesting to see if they both are here to continue developing. Personally, I hope so

^ I just hope that we get a competent center so that Daniel can stay at the 4. That's where he belongs.

Get Shahid, Luka, & Doumbia in the weight room this offseason and I think with all 3 they could be a nice rotation. What we really need are wing shooters/scorers to spread the floor and open up the floor. Rahsool was really our only deep threat, and teams keyed on him. Need more than 1 or 2 shooters.
Finding a dominant big man to come to UMass will be tough. I like the young trio, I think there's potential there
