#14 UMass won it 16th A-10 title and 1st since 2014 and earned the #1 seed in the A-10 tournament.

They beat VCU 4-0 to win the semifinal game today and will play the winner of the other semi between #2 St. Joe's and #3 Richmond (2 pm today) at noon Saturday. All games are on the +.

The tournament is being hosted by St. Joe's at Ellen Ryan Field in Philadelphia.

UMass lost 2-1. Sucks that the #1 seed had to play a road game on the #2 seed’s home field.

I don’t know much about the NCAA tourney, but here’s hoping they can get an at large bid given they won the regular season title and finished ranked #14.

UMass gets an at large berth in the NCAAs.

1st round against #3 seeded UConn at noon on Friday, 11/15 in vs Storrs. The game is also on the +!

We play Harvard on Sunday. They beat us 2-1 on penalty kicks earlier this year, but it was at their place. I assume this game will be at UConn. Harvard beat Syracuse today.

^ That's what they called it. I assume it's what we call a shootout in hockey, but I'm not positive. What, in Field Hockey you can't kick the ball in? I swear I saw a box score or something that said PK's.

After two scoreless OTs they did indeed have a penalty shootout. What hockey calls a shootout, apparently field hockey refers to as a penalty shoutout.

Hopefully it doesn't come that tomorrow and the Minutewomen win outright!

Interesting that UM has already played two (2) of the Final Four teams already this year and played both of their NCAA opponents as well.
They split with UConn and Harvard; losing regular season game and winning NCAA game.
Beat St Joseph in the regular season , put lost in A10 Championship game.
Lost at Northwestern in game #2 of the season.
