Mid-season MAC check-up
Re: Mid-season MAC check-up
It was strange to be watching the W. Michigan - NIU game. Seeing Walt Bell in the booth and hearing his name mentioned multiple times.
Be proud of the present and look to the future.

the comments related to Walt were generally favorable
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

He hasn't been fired yet this season so he must being doing something right. His shelf life is usually a season and a half though and its year one at WMU.
Re: Mid-season MAC check-up
Maybe he’s finally starting to figure out the OC role at age 40. He’s bounced around a lot in his career, it would probably help him if he can stay there for a couple years before bouncing to the next gig.
Re: Mid-season MAC check-up
I got zero. I will start to care next season about the MAC. I’ve missed scoreboard watching and actually having a reason to want to know what was happening in other games.
UMass Football: 22-3 at home when I was a student.

Re: Mid-season MAC check-up
He was a successful OC at the G5 level before coming to UMass and also did well at Maryland. That’s how he got the gig at FSU. He sucker for us as HC and flamed out at Indiana as OC. He has moved around a bit. His “rise” was pretty fast. He didn’t fall too far back like Molnar, lol. He seemingly is a nice guy as well.Quann wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 8:26 am Maybe he’s finally starting to figure out the OC role at age 40. Yeah he always seemed like a likeable guy whenever I heard him interviewed. I wish him well, it was just a bad hire by bamford to bring him in as head coach here.

Steve, what’s your record on 5 star locks?
Either way, whatever year it is, I’m happy to know we got the crew heading to Detroit.
