Noah was good here, but I think Sean had more potential. And as minutefan said, Noah kind of quit on the team. Not a good look

Re: KAEO: Sean East
That is not true at all. The coaching staff mismanaged an injury that lingered but he always played hard when he was on the court and was an emotional leader when he was in there. Stop with the bullshit.Floyd wrote: Fri Jul 05, 2024 4:47 pm Noah was good here, but I think Sean had more potential. And as minutefan said, Noah kind of quit on the team. Not a good look
Re: KAEO: Sean East
No one said he didn't try or play well. But he was a key part of the team, and he left. So yeah, by leaving, he quit on the team. Even collective guy said they didn't negotiate a deal with him because he had his mind made up to leave.

Re: KAEO: Sean East
I always saw it that he and Frank were not a good match at all. He was a McCall guy, they were tight, and then McCall was fired and UMass brought in the polar opposite in Frank Martin and it didn't work out between those two. He played his heart out early in the year, the Myrtle Beach games come to mind, and especially the game at Harvard where he injured his ankle and played like a warrior at the end to win it. Once the injury popped up again, he decided not to take the chance of making it worse and sat out. So yes, technically, he quit on the season and then quit on the team when he transferred, but I don't really blame him. If the coach and player aren't a match, you find other opportunities, and I'm 100% convinced that's what it was.

Bron also started had 22 min, was 2-9 for 4 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast, 0 pf.

I really liked Sean East. It's too bad he was run out of town in hindsight. But, given today's landscape, he would have eventually left on his own accord at some point anyway. Whether that was 1 or 2 more years down the line who knows.

Yep, that is likely the truth. And had it happened that way, people here would have shit on him for doing it.

I don't read these Sean East posts.
I am latitudinally challenged.
If there are many more of them, I may go out and turn my directional signal on.

Maybe related to the continuation of being latitudinally challenged.
Regardless, I DIY'd it and the apparent non-exitent problem warning msg turned out to be a false alarm.
What's this have to to with Sean East? Nothing.
We are on the West Coast of FL.
Go UMass!
Some W's via current roster, please.

There was (is?) as band called Head East. They had 1 top hit that I know of. What does this have to do with Sean East, about as much as Sign Man's post, except you have to head east to get to the Atlantic side of Florida.

If anyone doesn't know why East's stay at UMass ended, look back in this thread. His name is Tony.

All to bring in the guy who pretended to be Mr. Massachusetts only to quit on his team.69MG wrote: Tue Oct 29, 2024 6:45 pm There was (is?) as band called Head East.
