Manhattanhenge

Post by harbo » Sat Jul 11, 2020 11:58 am

Just a reminder to our NYC people. Sunday is one of the two days a year where the sun sets exactly in the grid pattern of the Manhattan streets. Maybe the storm will get outta there in time. According to the article, there are two other days (today being one of them) where the sun doesn't completely set, but there is still an impressive display.

I believe UMass has a Stonehenge-like structure somewhere down by the football stadium?

Just a heads up for tonight's edition. Not sure if the weather will hold up for the few of you who can be there. I'm not sure if tomorrow will offer a decent show.
