Front court was amazing today, about 44 points across three players.

I enjoyed this game. Lost some hair and others turned grey, but it was fun.

I'll be watching VCU tonight.

Never liked Davidson College. It was amazing when they joined and first logged into their forum. The wanted me to bless the Civil War and gave me this link to read. https://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTIC ... vlwar.html Will never miss this team! So happy we beat them!!!!

Felt like we stole that one. And that foul on Thompson should have been a shooting foul.

Cross carried us offensively with some help from DHS on the glass and Diggins from 3. Jayden made a ton of little things that were big plays. Rest of the guys were really ineffective. Cohen was a mess out there. Keon didn’t do anything. Curry hit a wide open three but took 12 shots to score 8 points. Davis missed all of his threes and was not good on defense.

I guess we took care of the ball for the most part and we were great on the offensive glass. And then we got stops in the last couple of minutes. Still feels like we stole it.

Credit Davidson. Their defense made us look awful on offense — we had 8 assists on 24 baskets and and had to take quite a few last second shots. They took advantage of our defense with all those goddamn back cuts. That Bailey kid is really good.

Obviously will take the win. Good to win a close one. Good to win on the road. Now finish out with a win over Fordham and you’ve got 20. Probably 2-3 more wins than I was expecting.

Did what we needed to, on the road, and got the W.

I know his father worked in college athletics but can't remember exactly what he did? Small college AD or something like that?

His father was a great coach at Davidson 33 years - Bob McKilopp.
Rasool made play of the game - blocked shot and retrieved ball to Curry. Rasool 4-6 from 3, rest of the team 1-18.

Indeed! Winning on the road is HARD. It doesn't have to be pretty, but our grit and determination got us to the finish line today, and it was on full display on that play Rahsool made to block the shot and then chase it out of bounds. Holy moly, that's good stuff.

I'll see you on Wednesday for the regular season finale when we try for our twentieth win!

foul on Keon was the right call - I saw it half dozen times - this is not NBA - he fouled him before he shot the ball

we won - on the road shooting 37% while the home team shot 48% - we won it on the offensive boards - 20-7 - that was the difference

I saw it a half dozen times too. Seemed like he was in his shooting motion when he got fouled.

If he went to the game, hope he can still make it to the early bird!
We were at the game. Sat next to a guy who ran track with the coaches wife. Went to the Brick Oven Tavern in Davidson for Pizza.

Maybe, but the kid would have still needed to make all three FTs and he he missed the first of the two he took after that call.

Yeah I’m not saying that’s why we won the game or anything like that. I’m just saying I think we got lucky on that call.
