I have Hankins-Sanford down for 17.2 myself.capezona wrote: Sat May 06, 2023 11:45 am Very possibly. It would mean that Diggins and Keon might get even fewer minutes and I've already listed Keon for about 6 fewer minutes than last year. Maybe Keon will get more minutes then I've listed at PG and Curry fewer minutes. According to my predictions, overall minutes play out as:
predicted / last year's minutes
Cross 31.8 / 26.9
Cohen 25.4
Leveque 22.5 / 19.6
Curry 21.5
Davis 19.2
Hankins-Sanford 17.4
Diggins 17.4 / 17.6
K Thompson 13.8 / 20.3
G Thompson 13.2 / 5.1
Worthy 6.1
Mayhugh 5.1
Ndjigue 5.0
Majok 2.6
2023-24 Season

Good point. Due to your input, I've changed Curry from 21.5 to 19.9.TheInsider wrote: Sat May 06, 2023 12:24 pm I think Curry as freshman getting 20+ under FM is a big ask.. unless something like last year happens.
Re: 2023-24 Season
This is fun. I'm glad I'm not the only one who tries to project minutes based on talent and experience. Of course, injuries tend to be the final judge.
I think Frank is going to try and play Wildens about ten minutes a half, at least OOC. Cohen will take the five for the most of the time while Wildens is on the bench. Majok figures to get situational minutes. We may see him often but not for long. Mayhugh is someone I can't predict.
I think that Sanford will get far more minutes than Gianni.
I don't know what to make of the backcourt. I see a wide open race for starting minutes and I actually won't be surprised to see two freshmen starters, particularly Curry and Davis. But it will depend on how fast they mature and if last year's guards improve. If both have shooting problems, like last year, the door opens for the freshmen.

Re: 2023-24 Season
All I know is that I will be a 40 minutes per game fan (barring injury or threats of divorce). That's up from 39.8 last year (I missed a game - coach's decision).
Re: 2023-24 Season
Im guaranteeing more wins this upcoming season.. not a big guarantee i know because it is a virtual lock, but maybe we get over 20..

You know it hasn't been good when being picked to finish 8th in a mediocre league is "optimistic ".LS71 wrote: Tue May 09, 2023 10:19 pm Somebody’s optimistic!![]()

Considering where UMass finished last season, it’s a step in the right direction though…far better than URIne, for example.TheInsider wrote: Wed May 10, 2023 7:04 amYou know it hasn't been good when being picked to finish 8th in a mediocre league is "optimistic ".LS71 wrote: Tue May 09, 2023 10:19 pm Somebody’s optimistic!![]()
