Late in the cycle just like RJ. I'm in.

Sounds pretty good. I think that'd use all our scholarships. Still think we need an experienced wing, though.

So, we'll have 5 guys to play point? Keon, Rahsool, Rollie, Worthy, and Curry?

Well, maybe but probably not. Rollie most likely a PWO so I don't think we can count him. Almost every site lists Worthy as a SG but he could move to PG if needed, but it doesn't appear to be his best position. That leaves 3, which is the right number with Worthy in reserve if we have injuries or foul trouble.

PF is more interesting, more from lack of bodies than too many bodies.

Sure seems like we are going to be playing two bigs for lots of minutes. I bet we see something like (hopefully) Curry, Diggins, Davis, Cross, Cohen lineup a good amount.

Is Cronin coming back? Can you have two PWOs?

If Curry comes, I expect Keon to test the portal.

Did Ryan Marcus graduate?

13 scholarships for D1 hoops. Up to 16 can be on the team, I believe. Maybe 15. Only 13 can dress for games. So at least 2 walk ons if the roster is full. Preferred walk ons don’t have to try out, they are guaranteed a spot in the roster. I assume most hoops walk ons are preferred. In football there might be recruited walk ons or even true walk ons that get a spot through open try outs. My guess is with the roster size in hoops there would not be recruited or true walk ons often, now that players do not have to sit out.

If a PG is score first and can shoot, then I’m all for having 2 PGs on the court.

John Kelly left which opens a walk on spot

I took the question as a general one asking how many PWOs can a team have not specific to UMass. I believe the max roster is 16, so three is the number. A team can decide to roll with 15 if they want.

Me too...

Hoping we get things set up and scholarships filled this weekend. This would be nice...

C Leveque Majok Mayhugh
PF Cohen Hankins-Sanford G Thompson
SF Cross Davis Jr. Marcus
SG Diggins Ndjigue Worthy Cronin
PG Curry K Thompson Cantinera

If Curry came here, I'd expect Keon would move on and we'd still have one slot to fill and it would likely go to a transfer who has played a couple years and had meaningful minutes.

Who is Marcus? Njdigue and Davis both seem like 2/3 hybrid wing guards
