Other than Fernandes and CP, everyone basically sucked tonight. BUT when a team can’t play with a lead (which happened repeatedly tonight) that is 100% on the coaching. I have supported him, but McCall sucked beyond belief tonight. Keystone cop bullshit there in OT. Bamford should just pull the plug and blame it on Covid. McCall will be happier back South anyway. I liked him and DO think it was the right hire at the time, but it is not working.

Who knows how many games will happen this season but so far this has been so dissappointing. Best player in the league and some role players should equal wins. Mason stepped up when 4 of their guys out. Shit show. Umass will not be relevant

Gmu actually handed mccall a gift when they switched back to man for the last few minutes of Reg because Umass had no answer for that zone. (Actually really impressed with that zone)

There's plenty of talent on this team.

The coaching staff needs to have a sense of urgency now. I get that it hasn't been a normal year and Covid has crippled practice time, etc. But many other programs are in the same boat. Tonight was embarrassing.

Welp, we are just not a very good team. Not sure what we do well out there at either end and we sure as hell can't protect a lead or finish games.

We have some talent I think -- not as much as some folks think I don't believe -- but there just doesn't seem to be anything we hang our hat on. On offense, teams just zone us and shade a shit ton of attention at Tre and we can't really do much. Defensively we just aren't good.

Still early so I haven't given up all hope, but for fuck's sake, at some point, you just are what you are. Every year there seems to be a different excuse: Year 1 the cupboard was bare. Year 2 the transfers weren't the answer. Year 3 we are young. Year 4 we are young again. It's exhausting.

This whole world is exhausting.
