2020 Season

My last sentence: (BTW, we actually had a competent coach but saw fit to show him the door: Mark Whipple) is NOT the reason I hate the current coach. The reason I hate the current coach is we lose every game by approximately 41 points. And Athlon Sports think we will lose to FAU by 45 points. I don't know about you, but we have become since Bell's first game vs Rutgers NONCOMPETITIVE. We score in the first quarter, then decide to take the next 3 quarters off. My own crystal ball shows 0-12 next year, then Bell is shown the door via buyout. I don't think he can win 1 game over the course of a 5 year contract; 1-11 last year; 0-4 this year; 0-12 next year.

I mean, per that last sentence referenced previously, it certainly seems like parting ways with Whipple is what really grinds your gears.

Going to have fun watching college football. I went to the Marshall game and had a fun experience. Sure the team isnt very good. Just like hockey and bb werent very good for a very long time. I read the forums for inside info. Not the constant bellyaching. With everything going on be thankful we have some diversion from all the sucky news that abounds

Unfortunately I will probably not be able to watch it. The station is on the highest level of Spectrum that I do not want to pay an extra # 20 a month for to be able to watch a game or two. I do have an Amazon Fire Stick to make my TV a smart TV so if someone can tell me if I can get it through that I would appreciate it.

I was able to watch the hockey game on the fire stick but can't watch the FB game because I don't pay the extra to get that level of cable.

In the age of internet streaming, smartphones, and Bluetooth, radio coverage doesn’t really seem to matter anymore. It’s more symbolic than anything else. Although it irks me that UMass Hockey’s flagship station barely covers the Amherst area, I remember that I can easily call up the postgame audio on my phone before I leave Mullins.

Unless you're driving in the car, in which case radio makes a ton of sense...

Sorry did not read this thread today as was on the csnbbs CUSA, Fight Massachusetts and the game thread on this board. A FAU fan gave me a linked that worked fine and have Roku but could not find it there under add channels.

My car has bluetooth but doesn't have streaming capabilities, just hands free phone capabilities. Not all bluetooth is alike in cars.
