Where are they this year?

Post by harbo » Tue Mar 26, 2019 12:47 am

My semi-irregular update look at where the former UMass players are now playing:

https://basketball.usbasket.com/team/US ... 245?Page=4

Sorting on the year column (next to nationality) makes it easier to read. Amazingly, Stephane Lasme is still lacing them up, although with diminished minutes and numbers. Maxie Esho is showing the gaudiest numbers (23.5 pts and 9.4 reb) among the alumni.

Zach Turcotte is a starting center overseas made me smile.

It's crazy how many names on there from not that long ago that I already forgot about. Like Santee and Space.

^ You don't remember Olaf? The buzzer beater to beat George Washington in 94? I knew you were losing it, but this is scary.

HA! You my friend, may be the unfortunate chap who is losing it. This was an erroneous entry and true fans of New England round ball know that Olaf was not a Minuteman but rather someone who played for the rather less distinguished UMass-Boston five. I submit the following as evidence:

Wow... so it looks like Chaz, Hinds, and Trey Davis are all playing together in the Polish league. Very cool!
