Huge sack for Montiero. Lucky that 4th down ball wasn't caught. Need some first downs now.
Re: Game # 11: BYU
UMass pretty lucky today recovering their own fumbles. It'll be the usual nail-biter ending.

Well, that sucked. Bad luck to trip over your own guy. But again, getting way too conservative way too early. They've been successful all day with a control passing game, and now they abandon it.

I've changed my position on Whipple. You get an interception and are only up 13 points. They can't get pressure on you and they can't stop your receivers and call power running plays!!!! Why!!!! I'm sorry but Whipple needs to go no matter what happens today. That's being stupid for the sake of being stupid!

Interception! That was caused by the pressure!
Now get a couple of first downs!!!

Oh, those not-so-special teams. How do you allow a punt return like that?

Special teams rears its ugly head again. One more first down and we may have had them. Play calling just boggles the mind.

I am refraining from any negative comments today, but when you are a +5 in turnovers, the game should still not be a nail biter with 6 minutes to go. That said, great effort by the defense today. I just hope they can hold on here.

LOL, a half yard more on 4th and 27 and we'd be chewing our fingers off. As it is, I think they got it.78 wrote: Sat Nov 18, 2017 5:51 pm I am refraining from any negative comments today, but when you are a +5 in turnovers, the game should still not be a nail biter with 6 minutes to go. Here we go. Odds of our recovering the onside kick? Given past history, I couldn't guess.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Best win since the team moved to FBS. Game balls to Coach Pinkham and the defense. There has to be an offensive coordinator hired next season.
