^ Sixth job in seven years! I know that coaches need to climb a ladder, but....

Ginsburg and Vogel still listed, for now... Strength coach etc. stay in place I assume.
All due respect, and I mean that from the bottom of my heart, I'm gonna pass.

Can't hurt that he has ties to the Albany AAU program.

I think he is lumping in the high school head coaching job which seems to overlap with the AAU job (Albany Rocks), as well as moving to our job, as the "6 in 7 years". It does look like just 4 prior to the move here.

In some states you can coach High School ball as well as high school level AAU, in some states (like MA), you cannot do both.

Is that a new rule in MA? My brothers AAU coach also coached high school. But this is going back about 5 or 6 years.

Well, you found the four in the middle. The first was Green Tech Charter High and the newest is UMass.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I think that's at the same time as Albany Rocks and it was likely unpaid.

^ I'd be interested to know why Jordan lost his position as an assistant at Siena. Seems like he took a fall-back job as DBO at his Alma mater (UAlbany) and is trying to move back up the ladder (or at least get more money) taking the DBO job on McCall's staff. On the surface he seems like a pretty good hire for DBO, he's spent a number of years in the Northeast and has ties to Albany Rocks AAU. The sheer # of jobs he's held isn't of concern to me. Guys working their way up the ladder get paid a pittance as the lower end jobs, so they really do have to jump at opportunities when they present themselves.

Overall, it seems like McCall has approached the task of filling out his staff smartly. He brought over two guys that he knows and trusts from Chattanooga instead of bringing over his whole staff from Chattanooga, which probably would've been a disaster. He's brought in at least two guys (Davis & Jordan) who know how to operate in the Northeast.

Kellogg's managed his staff, by comparison, horribly. He routinely promoted people from within who were unqualified. He had a fucking Fed-ex guy as DBO.

Well, and you found the extra ones on the edges, including counting two jobs he appeared to work at roughly the same time and adding in the latest, which would actually be year 8.

Why are we making such a big issue out of his past employment history? He is Director Of BB Operations, not the head coach. He is far more qualified from a BB perspective than our last person at that position, who was an executive at Fedex.

You can coach AAU and HS but your AAU can not have a roster of more than 50% of your HS players.
