That's because of the board reset... I don't have the same date, but most of us are around the 2nd or 4th of April that year because of needed to re-sign up. Funny comment, none the less!

We all have Derek Kellogg out of here. But, it's possible Bamford, after looking at the Athletic Departments finances, might determine that he can't afford to buy Derek out. He might be forced to issue a press release stating he has the utmost conference that Derek will turn the program around in 2017-2018. It could happen. I can only imagine the howls of protest.

Hopefully this is a long shot possibility. If it happens, and we don't win, attendance will drop to rock bottom. I remember going to a Temple game in the Springfield Civic Center in the early 80's when we were horrible and hardly anybody showed. This could easily happen again.
Re: 1/29/17 poll - Fire DK?
DK is out of here at the conclusion of this season, he has clearly proven he IS NOT the right person for this job. No disrespect intended but nine years is more than enough time to have this program competing for A10 Championships annually. UMass is a strong academic institution, great facilities, one of the best college towns in America so there should be nothing holding it back.
The only area UMass comes up lacking is donor support but as we all know success will remedy that problem.

^+1 can't agree more!! Let's move quickly on his termination or resignation...

Marcus Camby tweeted his support of DK

Kind of lame that he's getting negative responses back though. To those people, I'd say: you don't have to agree with him. But that's one of the best players we've ever had. Bash DK all you want in your own tweet thread.

^ agree 100%
Re: 1/29/17 poll - Fire DK?
I'm sure Marcus is catching wind that umass Ian"officially" preparing to move on as evidenced by his public statement. If he knew Bamford intended to let him ride his contract out he probably would not say anything.

He should have started Turcotte.

I disagree. When you tweet you open yourself up to people responding/commenting. He's trying to drum up support for Kellogg. As others have done on Twitter, he's preaching for patience with Kellogg, which is ludicrous, the man has had 9 years.MikeUMA wrote:Marcus Camby tweeted his support of DK

There's a difference between disagreeing with what he has to say about DK and bashing the program/spreading falsehoods about Camby and his time here. I think the comment you responded to was in relation to the latter.

^ can you link to anyone spreading falsehoods about Camby? I read all the replies didn't see anything close to what you are asserting.
Looking forward to winning seasons again!
