@UMassHoops_com Yes, game is on FOX Sports GO. But you must receive FOX Sports Midwest in your pay-TV subscription to stream it on GO.

So, a lot of us have a trip to the local sports bar on tonight's agenda.

If you have access to FSMW, here's the link for the game:
https://www.foxsportsgo.com/program/154 ... aint-louis
So it is completely useless to 99% of the UMass fan base. That is completely bogus.

Why? It's an away game, and FSMW bought the broadcast rights for it.

It is what it is.

Just remember what getting out-of-market live updates was like 20 years ago: watching the espn2 bottom line to cycle through the rotation until they showed the UM score. We're pretty spoiled today.

If you're a DirecTV subscriber and have the Sports Pack, you can watch and/or stream the game.

I believe the Sports Pack is $13.99/mo. One can order it for tonight and call tomorrow to turn it off, but I'm not sure what the charge would be or if there's a minimum requirement...either time or $$.

For Verizon FIOS subscribers:

found a replay on channel 300 (FS Atlantic) at midnight.

Is FoxSports MidWest different than FoxSports? Is there even a FoxSports NorthEast?

Just seems bogus to me in 2017 that you literally can't watch this game in market for one of the teams unless you have a nationwide DirecTV subscription. It would be one thing if this was an OOC game at, say, Wisconsin-Green Bay. But this is the A-10, a borderline major conference in college hoops. Shouldn't be happening IMO.

I will find a way to watch - but I stand by it being bogus in A-10 play. Not saying it should be free, but minimum should be available via the A-10 package or just freaking put it on FS-Go national. I'm not certain but I think I'm paying (wasting) extra $ to have FS1 in my cable package.

I don't have that capacity as I was 8 20 years ago and have grown up in the technologically spoiled generation. 8)

There is no "Fox Sports" channel per se. There are regional Fox Sports Network channels, then the nationals like FS1 and now FS2.

I guess we should be so lucky to have NESN or CSNE themselves pickup a game. I know they'll pick up a feed from other carriers from time to time. I'm sure there will be streams available on "alternate" sites tonight.

^ Yeah I don't see it on any of the "alternate" places just yet but I'll keep an eye out... What's really frustrating is I feel like UMass Lowell has been on ESPN3 a LOT (like tonight), while we get nada.

^^

Celtics tonight in CSN NE, so no dice there. Nothing on NESN, but since this is a Fox broadcast, I highly doubt NESN would get it... I don't think those stations have any sort of broadcasting partnership.

No sorry I meant we should be so lucky to have NESN pickup any random game in the middle of the season to broadcast themselves opposed to their usual just grabbing somebody else's production. Although it is appreciated when they do that and beggars can't be choosers.

Its somewhat funny that I paid $40 for A10 network access, and most of the home games we have are free anyway. And for these away games, they get broadcast on a channel outside of A10. I have to rethink why I am even paying for this.

And with our school hoping for more fans/students to tune in, its certainly hard to achieve that when you don't broadcast/stream it easily for people to watch. Boo on the A10 on that one.

That's kind of what I was getting at with my original gripe. I didn't even bother with the $40 A-10 package this year for that reason. I did pay the $5 or whatever it was to stream the (I think) George Mason game, but other than that it has either been free or on a national network.
