Bring the Cone Heads and Lou Collins out of retirement and maybe have the Blues Brothers chase some sheep around the Mullins while shaking their canes! Bleat, bleat! :P

I say the bring Thorr Bjorn back just so student can once again yell, "Thorr, Thorr, Thorr, open the f-ing door!"

Just throwing this out. Maybe get the Militia, other students, and band to make a short video to be played during game. Get students and maybe even crown to sing along.

PAIN... to the tune from Fame.

Pain
You're gonna feel it forever
Light up your head with the pain
You're gonna wish you were never
Feeling the heat of the pain
Pain

It seems we just don't know what to do with ourselves until gameday.

I kind of understand why "Rage in the Cage" didn't make the trip to Mullins, but I don't see why it can't be brought back. After all, it's not like the band still doesn't play some of the same songs from 20 years ago.

As for the "U ..." "MASS ..." chant, I first saw that done by Rutgers fans at the RAC, going back and forth with the "R ..." "U ..." from one side to another. It was pretty impressive, and UMass adapted it soon thereafter one the Cage filled up.
I wrote this ... it's gotta be true.

I remember one game when the student section yelled "U" at the other GA side... getting the chant to go back and forth across the floor. That was fantastic.

Really like the brainstorming here. I feel like something is brewing and will come to fruition out of this!

By the way, mentioning the video board, how great is the new video in the introductions!!?? Loved it at the Fordham game!

Completely unrelated, but a few of my buddies (from URI) came up for the URI game in 2010 and saw Thorr at Rafters.. Talked to him for a good 10-15 minutes and Thorr left them 4 seats right behind the Rhody bench at Will Call.. Good dude.

Rock N Roll Part 2 was also written by a convicted pedophile. Gary Glitter, ladies and gentleman!

Due to geography I haven't been to a game in ages -- are they still playing the theme for Night Court? I was very partial to that back in the day.

Are you sure you weren't partial to Heather Locklear? That's the only reason I wathced the show.

I think a song is an awesome idea. The song wouldn't even matter. I'm thinking something like how the red sox fans started singing Bob Marley's "Three Little Birds" every time Shane Victorino stepped up to the plate.

Sing the hook of a song every time we make a free throw or every time we slam down on a sweet dunk, or every time we hit a three.

The students could yell out the hook for "Hit Me Baby One More Time" and it'd still be fun, unique, and awesome.

However, like others have said, the students have to make this happen, which isn't easy. Hell, we just got them to show up! Let's not push them too hard, too soon

Sox fans sung that because it was Victorino's walk up song and it played over the speakers every time he walked up to the plate.
