Can you test it with the UMass All Access video player in full screen mode? Supposedly it will work if you stream the Chrome tab using the free Casting extension for the Chrome browser. Ive heard people have had trouble getting it to work though.
It wold be awesome if it worked for that.

Did you try the All-Access video player in full screen mode yet?
I ordered one last night. It was on back order two days ago but not any more.

Slingbox has been pretty good from day 1 but is even better now that it's completely HD. The only crappy part is that you have to pay for the apps that it uses.

I watched the 2011-2012 hoop highlights from all access as nothing live was available. The wireless stream from the computer to the ChromeCast was fine. We're still limited to the quality of the cameras, feed, etc., but all in all things are heading in the right direction.

I couldn't find the wifi stream icon that I found on Youtube.... how do you send it to your tv from the All-Access site.

I've been using a slingbox for the last month or so and would recommend it. Provided your internet connection is good the quality is excellent.

I can't get the Chromecast to work with my outdated laptop running Vista.

Only the Netflix and Youtube apps work with the iphone. Guess i'll need to get a new machine just so i dont have to use a wire to stream the computer to the tv.

But then I need to get up and walk across the room. There's gotta be a better way.

Slingbox is great - I used it when traveling abroad my final semester ~6 years ago ..... unfortunately , unless it has had a major overhaul , Slingbox only streams content FROM your TV to your internet connected device and not the other way around
