At the very least, VCU won't be well rested... though we will be tired...

It was a bad matchup for us a couple weeks ago, and it still is.....If Kellogg and staff devise a way to keep us close, I'll be awfully impressed.

Umass could've beat VCU that game. Umass couldn't shoot at all and VCU was on fire! St Joes should've beat VCU today but missed 17 foul shots and lost by 3

Havoc sleeps in Brooklyn. It didn't look that great vs St Joes today.

Havoc isn't as effective away from their home court where the refs let them get away with everything, but I do worry that our guys are gassed.

I really believe UMass will come out and play hard for 40 minutes and will be the team that wants it more. We just beat the team that beat VCU last Sunday.

Chaz looked so spent at the end of the game...but he made hos free throws. I don't know about tomorrow but I do know that Trey Davis has to play in control and play serious minutes for UMass to win. They can definitely do it if the refs keep VCU honest.

If we manage to beat VCU in the semis, it will absolutely be the biggest win in 15 years. I hope DK emphasizes that to these guys and puts the pressure on them to execute and play smart and under control.

That said, I just can't really picture us pulling it out all things considered. Third game in three days against a team that smoked us playing an uptempo style. Just too much to expect IMO but crazier things have happened.

Really curious to see what adjustments DK will make against the press.

Anyone think he'll call off the full court press and focus on getting stops in the halfcourt?

So pumped to be even talking about this.
This is the most enjoyable losing season ever!

87 is right, we need Trey to play like GW game, not like tonight.

The degree of difficulty on this one is extremely high. We are very tired, and you saw how hard it was for us to inbound against Temple towards the end of this game. Temple isn't exactly synonymous with 'mayhem'. We have no chance if DK and his staff haven't figured out how to solve what went wrong in the 2nd half of the VCU game, and even if they've got it sorted it's going to be an uphill battle. VCU definitely didn't look as tired as us at the end of their game.

We will be gassed for sure. But I think we will have the desire. VCU won't get away with the things they do at home. It will be an uphill battle but they have to look at this as a NCAA play in game
