Nice? Great win for the Duqies. Predicted to finish at the bottom of the A-10, Duq goes into an ACC gym, scores almost 100, and gets the win. That's freakin' huge for them.

Duq shoots 23-27 from the stripe (85%). Must be nice

Dudley, Spears, and Oates out for the game. Nice win for them but not against a full BC team.

Who cares about that. It is a huge win for them and the A 10.

...and Duquene is without their coach, not to mention the players they're still missing from the shootings

Thier coach Everheart also missed the game because he was sick and I believe he was hospitalized. Even though BC was missing some players, The Dukes have gone through so much already this year, that this win on the road really is a special win.

Look, take nothing away from Duquesne for winning this game, who cares if BC was missing Oates, Dudley, and McClain (people keep saying Spears, why was Spears out?). This is a huge win for them, the only key one that BC was missing was Dudley. BC still should have beaten an extremely poor Duquesne team (even for Duquesne standards). Good win for them, terrible loss for BC.

One of the assistant coaches who stepped up in Everhart's absence? UMass alum and Coach Cal disciple Daryn Freedman.

Nice win!

I don't know if anyone mentioned it but Dudley, Spears, and Oates were out for the game. Sorry, just wanted to throw that out there for people to chew on.

Why didn't anyone tell us? You sat on this information all night and let us rave about what a great game Duquesne played? Clearly those losses bring BC down to the level of Duquesne (one of the worst teams in college basketball) and make this a rather insignificant win.

And Duquesne had 9 scholarship players and no coach AND WAS IN BC'S GYM. I'd call that about even, no?

If you want to make excuses over and over, why not go post on Eagle Action or perhaps get a job with the Globe?
