Same way we had a 'home' game last year against Denver. Although Ohio State is not a host school, that more happened because the NCAA tries to minimize travel.

Re: 2024 Game 3: @ Buffalo

Every year of failure, that hire matters less. Carvel has done a great job, but he did have a once in a generation player.

They won the natty without Makar and have been back to the tourney twice since. They have been in the tourney five of the last six tournaments and are preseason ranked ...

Re: York Retiring

Its so surprising that BC and BU have not named new hockey coaches. Some speculate that the BU situation is due to a contract issue with the current coach and they will name someone on May 1st. The BC situation is much more surprising. I guess the BC job is not as desirable as the folks on ...

Re: 2021-22 Season: Defend the Trophy

^ eh, other than fewer games played not really. It's not like either team will get a bump or take a hit for a game not played.

The only potential impact is if teams start using covid/health reasons to dodge potential tough games they could lose.

Re: 2021-22 Season: Defend the Trophy

^ not covid related, Michigan is concerned about player safety as they have a lot of players at the world juniors. I'm sure its just a coincidence they canceled the game against the team that already beat them this season at Yost...

It’s the key risk factor.
I'm thinking folks with type 1 diabetes would like a word with you. Or transplant patients. Yes both are underlying health issues, but doesn't mean we as society should give them the middle finger.

It's changed back and forth twice that I can remember, but to start visitor bench was the bench in front of section U as it is now, but it was for a few years switched. The thought is having the ability to swap a player post penalty kill outweighs the benefit of the tunnel hence the configuration ...

The sheet has the whole roster, not just those who dress.

Re: Recruiting -- 2018 and beyond

Yeah, don't count on Holy Cross hosting a game at the DCU anytime soon. Back ages ago when there were rumblings of Holy Cross men coming to Hockey East they approached the DCU to play games there like ConU does in Hartford. Railers nixed that hard and fast. So I think even if they wanted a single ...

What are the COVID restrictions and ticket situations in Pittsburgh???

Penguins are able to have 15% capacity which is only 2800 fans. Going to be really tough to get tickets I think.

They are up to 25% capacity now, NCAA actually opened up ticket sales to the frozen four priority folks ...
