Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

Astounding that they didn't account for the prospect of people perhaps wanting to spend some time in a time- honored tailgate tradition and account for the safety and comfort of the participants. Simple stuff.
If we are talking about a mid-January Saturday hoops game, yeah, you can use an ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

The "perfect storm" Ryan Bamford talked about was not due to the large crowds, it was due to the failure of the administration to prepare for those expected large crowds (great weather, family weekend, multiple events happening). The administration should WANT large crowds. Their repeated failures ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

the clock stops for the turnover on downs yes, of course. I only watch football on Saturdays and Sundays (Red Zone) and Mondays/Thursdays. But isn't time taken off the play clock as the team sets up for the next down??? when we intercepted the ball with 61 seconds to go; it's 1st and 10 and ...

Joleon, would you rather have us drop down to a Maine/UNH level athletics program? That’s the road we were cruising toward by staying in the A10 as they will continue to lose basketball schools. The football team has been brutal this year but I agree with Steve, the MAC is best for the ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

The tone from Coach Joe here was a lot different than after Kent State, that's for sure. It is frustrating to hear that he/they can't admit they made some mistakes in that final possession, or even throughout the 4th quarter. You are a young coach, 0-7 in your first year.. it's ok to be wrong and ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

The biggest problem was they didn’t hand it off on first down to try to gain a few yards. Hairston basically took a knee and lost yardage. That’s when I was like “What the hell, this game is not over yet!” It got worse on second down then they tried a terrible screen pass. Ugly all around.

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

As bad as the last minute was, the last 5 minutes or so was equally horrible clock management. They were repeatedly snapping the ball with more than 20 seconds remaining on the play clock. With the lead, they needed to shorten the game and they fucked it up beyond comprehension. Horrendous ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

Nope, only 3 times. As soon as you run on 4th down and get down, assuming short of the 1st down, the clock stops for the turnover on downs. You certainly don't do that there in that field position.

I guess I'm special needs: then what is Victory Formation???? Team A has the lead and the ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

It’s too bad because if we won this one I really think it could have been the spark we needed to play solid football the rest of the way. Losing that game the way we did is a recipe for a team to completely pack it in for the rest of the year. Hopefully Coach H takes the countless mistakes he, his ...

Also check Twitter/X. As bad as we are there are still tons of fans commenting about the end of the game on there. We may be at the absolute bottom but we still have thousands of fans and alumni that care about bottom dweller program. That just shows that if we can get this thing back to ...

Re: Game 7, 2025: Buffalo (10/18)

Celebrated too early. Worst end of game management in history. WOW

Then don’t even try to get a rushing 1st down on first two downs and try some bizarre screen pass on 3rd down. The coaching is absolutely atrocious. I’m not going to even get into the play calling preceding the moronic 54 yard ...

Let’s gooooooo!! Hairston should have been playing all year, we look like a functional offense with him finally getting comfortable.
