Hey! There's a game tomorrow. Another winnable game if UMass plays like they can FOR 40 MINUTES!

I feel like this could be said for almost every game left on the schedule. Let’s give it 40 minutes of effort boys!

Very glad that Baptiste is getting a game plus another week of practice before the real season begins on Jan5th.

this will be a very tough game to win. Georgia is one of the country's top shot-blocking teams, led by Claxton, who is 9th in the country. Claxton has also led in points, rebounds and assists in their recent games. Maybe Baptiste can slow him down a bit, but I don't think anyone on UMass can match up with him. Last year they were led by Maten, who couldn't handle Holloway. He's gone and they're much improved. They have length and athleticism beyond Claxton and points in the paint will be very hard to come by, unless something odd (e.g. foul trouble) happens. Claxton has 34 blocks this year, equalling UMass's team total. Georgia's 3-pt% is poor, with only 2 reliable shooters and that's the key to beating them. If we shoot well on 3s and make a great all-out effort, a win is possible.

Maybe Georgia will be looking ahead to playing #3 Tennessee. Tough matchup. Who do you put on Claxton? Go big or go speedy?

I’d probably try Laurent on Claxton and if he’s getting worked because of the height difference then I’d throw Baptiste on him.

This team is good but not spectacular overall. I believe they are around 113 overall on KP, which I know doesn’t mean everything, but they are no Providence and probably aren’t even Temple. I think if we hustle and bust it on the glass then we can easily bring our odds into 50/50 territory.

The opening line is 5.5. That seems a little low to me.

Seems like a long break this year. Like they haven't played in a month

I'm definitely worried about this game. They've had a long break and are playing on the road. I also think Tom Crean is a tremendous coach. He's in his first year at Georgia and as we know it takes a while to build a system and establish culture, but I never underestimate a well coached team.

Beat Georgia, beat them good! 8-5 looks a whole lot better than 7-6. It does!

Man, Holloway can never get that And 1 to go!

Damn, Baptiste looks like he’s in very good shape for not practicing since March - he should be a force in conference play.

Started the game really bad but I thought they played pretty good the last 12-13 minutes. Georgia pulling some 3s out of their ass killed them.
