I have two extra tickets to this game. Section 209, Row L, Seats 3-4. Will sell for face value via Paypal. $13.50 each. Seats are behind the basket. PM me and we'll figure out how to exchange. Should be a hell of a game.

Can anyone recommend a decent reasonably priced hotel near the Smith Center?

As an FYI, DC is relatively empty on weekends and most hotels in DC offer extremely good rates on weekends. I understand that you want to be close to GW, but you may get a room at a nice hotel closer to other options and would be only a cheap cab ride or metro ride away.

If it's in your price range stay at the palomar in DuPont circle. They serve free wine every day between 5-6.
I'm against picketing, but I don't know how to show it.

Buddy of mine got a very cheap rate at the Melrose Hotel through Priceline- short walk to Smith Center.

HUGE game for us. At the moment it looks like it'll be GW, UMass, St. Joe's and Richmond fight for the last 2 byes in the A10 tourney. Although you could argue Richmond is in trouble after losing two of their best players in the last week. Reason there' extra meaning for this game is the tiebreaker factor. Richmond holds the edge on us from head to head, we're 1-1 with SJ and we don't want GW to hold the tiebreaker. If more than 2 teams are tied for the a position in the standings I believe they go by combined record against the teams involved in the tie. For example, right now we're tied with St. Joe's and Richmond for the 4th seed. Our combined record is 1-2, St. Joe's is also 1-2, and Richmond is 2-0...giving Richmond the 4th seed at the moment. But again it's going be difficult for Richmond to remain near the top 4.

I literally just booked a room at a B&B in NW DC - Adams Inn. $69 + $10 tax (living social deal). Not bad for a night. It's apparently a 2.3 miles away (5-10 minute drive) to the stadium and there's a lot of public transport around that location. My friend (GW Alum) lives right down the street, and said it's a great neighborhood and around a lot of fun bars.

Check it out, definitely cheaper than some of the hotels I researched.

It's being televised on SNY, so we should do our usual campaign to get the local networks in Boston to pick it up. Comcast sports and nesn. I'm on it. Anyone else wanna help?

There are still a handful of tickets left through the Alumni Association. Cost is $20 for game ticket and pre-game reception.

GW is a very good team with some great outside shooters. UMASS needs to bring their A game and intensity. There will be a significant UMASS presence at the game, 300-400.
