Probably tough, since I assume we're still pretty far behind #75, but it's certainly possible we could crack that list.

What would it take?
- Success in Football
- Success in Basketball
- Being part of the next conference shuffle into something better

Again, cracking it might be possible in time... climbing that list is another matter.

Anyone have any idea what our valuation is currently?

Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that other than football and probably baseball, UMass athletics isn't all that bad. All of the women's teams are doing reasonably well and men's hoops is appears to be trending in the right direction. Hockey is nationally competitive as well.

BC is not particularly good in anything other than hockey and they're #54. Despite being at the top of both men's and women's hoops, UConn is #71. It would be nice to know what exactly UMass needs to do to crack the top 75!

This is valuation, so it's really about the conference and revenue that generates for the Department/School. UConn is on the list, as it should be, but low because it is independent in football. BC is up there because it is in the ACC. We need to improve in both football and basketball and then move up from the MAC to get to be on this list.

Sounds like something UMass should be able to do, doesn’t it?

Not trying to be a Debbie downer but I’d be ecstatic at 1 win.
